Hear from Hannah Saliba, PR & Brand Communications Lead, on her favourite benefit at the Bega Group that celebrates great people.

The Bega Group makes great tasting and trusted food and beverage brands available to Australia and the world, and I’m grateful to play a role as one of the custodians of these much-loved brands.

I’ve been with the Bega Group since 2019 and was originally attracted to the business by the incredible stable of brands within the portfolio, and the fact that it’s an Australian owned company. If I had to describe the business in three words, for me they would be iconic, local and heritage. We have the opportunity to work on incredible brands, every day – and it’s incredible that the Bega Group has a home within the Bega Valley. Often people don’t truly realise the breadth of brands that we have including VEGEMITE which just turned 100 years young.

If I had to decide on my favourite benefit at the Bega Group it would be the reward and recognition platform, B-Valued. B-Valued allows you to say thanks to your colleagues, and also acknowledge their efforts. While we of course give our colleagues a shout when they deliver amazing work, it’s even better to be able to officially recognise them through the B-Valued platform. B-Valued celebrates our people and our values-based culture.
B-Valued creates a supportive environment where your colleagues can be officially recognised for going above and beyond directly from their peers or anyone in the business! We wouldn’t be able to do the things that we do alone, it takes a collaborative team to get the job done.

My one piece of advice for anyone considering a career here is – go for it! The Bega Group is a business with such supportive people, and many well-loved brands to work on!
