Since 1899 we have been proudly Australian owned. We are an Australian business founded at the Farm Gate. From humble beginnings as a Bega Valley Co-op, to a top 200 ASX listed organisation with great ambitions.

In 2001 we transformed from a dairy co-operative with a strong regional cheese brand into a diversified branded food and beverage business.

With our heart still grounded in our home in the Bega Valley, the Bega Group is now a truly national business but with a local mindset. We act small but sure do think big and are now made up of thousands of visionary leaders and change makers from all corners of our great country.

We have strong relationships directly with farmers and suppliers, that allows us to offer consumers brands that champion sustainability and help meet our shared commitments to building a better future for the communities in which we operate.

We are an integrated producer of packaged food products and ingredients enjoyed in over 40 countries and on which millions of Australians rely.

We operate across two business segments:

Branded – consumer and foodservice products sold through grocery, route, foodservice, petrol and convenience channels.

Bulk – nutritional powders and dairy ingredients sold primarily to food manufacturers.

Our portfolio of brands can be found across eight major food categories, with many of our brands being market leaders and household names trusted by generations of consumers.

The Bega Group is home to many trusted and wholesome food brands that are enjoyed in Australia and all around the world. Our growth story of becoming a successful ASX listed company with a turnover in excess of $3 billion is made possible by our values and outward-looking perspective. We have approximately 3,900 passionate people, working across 19 manufacturing sites and corporate offices in Australia and Internationally who are helping us achieve our vision to become The Great Australian Food Company. To achieve this vision, we focus on creating great food, inspiring great people, having great aspirations and working for the greater good.

We run the largest cold chain network in Australia, which allows us to service our customers across Australia and beyond. Our customer service and sales team members work across our sites and on the road to assist customers from supermarkets and convenience outlets through the schools, hospitals and the local milk bar. Our passion for the customer underpins everything we do.

Whether it’s your favourite spreads like VEGEMITE and Bega Peanut Butter on toast, a dash of Dairy Farmers milk in your morning coffee, a Big M or Dare Iced Coffee on the go or a Zooper Dooper on a hot day – you’ve probably grown up enjoying the iconic products we proudly manufacture every day by the Bega Group.
