Special Recognition for Bega Cheese Staff Special Recognition for Bega Cheese Staff Brett Dunham, Formulation Controller – Processing & Packaging & Beth Alderuccio, Quality Support Officer were awarded with their Diploma in Food Science and Technology with special recognitions at a ceremony in Melbourne last week. Brett Dunham has been employed with Bega Cheese for 9 years. Brett commenced his career with Bega Cheese as a casual employee in 2005, and very quickly progressed into Operator roles. In Brett’s first interview he stated “I plan to stay with Bega Cheese long-term”. He has proven to be right, with a number of increased leadership role changes such as Team Leader, Shift Coordinator and currently Production Services and Formulations Coordinator. Brett has often performed above expectations and due to this he was chosen to be given the opportunity to complete the Diploma in Food Science and Technology in 2011. Past and current Supervisors have consistently found Brett to be very reliable and a good team player. Bega Cheese are proud of his business and academic achievements to date and the company is very confident that he will continue to make a significant contribution to our enterprise in the future. Together with Brett’s colleagues, Bega Cheese extends its Congratulations on his fantastic achievements and the additional honour of being award Dux of the year. Beth (Maria) Alderuccio has been employed with Bega Cheese for 9 years. Beth commenced her career with Bega Cheese as a casual employee back in 2005 progressing into the Lab as a Quality Assurance Assistant and culminating in her current role as Quality Officer. Beth has shown commitment to Bega Cheese and has excelled in all her roles in the Quality Assurance Department. Together with her positive work ethic, Beth has proved herself to be a very dedicated employee, in particular her commitment to training. In 2010 she was nominated by her TAFE assessor as Trainee of the Year for her energy and enthusiasm displayed during her participation in Bega Cheese’s Certificate III in Food Processing Traineeship program. Beth’s nomination and having been selected from a large group of colleagues, was significant recognition of her commitment and dedication. Bega Cheese saw this dedication and Beth was given the opportunity to complete the Diploma in Food Science and Technology in 2011. Beth applied considerable effort despite having to balance a full work load while still completing her diploma. Bega Cheese are pleased and proud of her achievements and are confident that Beth’s career will continue to flourish.
