Merryl Dooley

Merryl Dooley is Chief People Officer, leading the People and Capability Team across the business. She is responsible for shaping and delivering the people strategy, partnering closely with business leaders to build capability, drive performance, and enable sustainable growth.

Merryl is a values-driven leader with a strong passion for creating high performing organisations  reflected in her people-centred and commercially focused approach to building capability and leadership.

Merryl joined Bega Group in April 2026, bringing extensive experience across ASX-listed and private organisations. She previously served as Chief People and Culture Officer at Bapcor Limited. Prior to this, she spent a decade at Tabcorp Holdings, where she led large-scale transformation programs, and has also held executive roles at DECJUBA, supporting growth across Australia and New Zealand.

Merryl holds a Bachelor of Education and an Executive MBA. She has completed the Senior Executive Program at London Business School and the AICD Company Directors Course.
